Halloween 2012

Neither Leo or Violet are big on costumes - I was doubtful that I would even get them into a costume for Halloween this year!  But in the end, Leo agreed to be a hockey player and Violet decide that she wanted to be a Care Bear (that growls, of course).

Neither of the kids really cared for trick or treating.  Oh, they liked getting the candy, they just didn't quite get the concept of putting the candy in their bag.  They wanted to eat it all immediately - Violet wouldn't even wait for us to unwrap it!  She ate it, wrapper and all!  We went around our block and then headed home to pass out candy.  Leo thought that passing out candy was great, but Violet REALLY got into it - at one point Scott had to chase her 2 houses down.  She was chasing a little girl holding a piece of candy, yelling "hey"...  Apparently, she really wanted to give this little girl a piece of candy!

By the end of the night, both kids were W-I-L-D!  Violet was running around the dining room table with the candy bucket on her head.  And Leo was chasing her yelling, "Hey, Pumpkin Head!"  Sugar overload????
