Updates...

OK, so I have gotten behind AGAIN!!! Well, here is a quick update on the happenings in our household in February - along with some new photos...

VIOLET: We have been battling a double ear infection since the end of December that just won't go away! Weekly doctor visits and 4 rounds of antibiotics...and we think it is finally gone! Hopefully, PE tubes can be avoided! We are hoping that we can stay out of the clinic for at least the next few weeks - at least until we have to go back for her Child Wellness appointment!

She is really moving - FAST! She is walking, but only on her terms. When we aren't looking, she walks all over the house. But...when we are around, she still reaches for a finger to hold. Her first word is "Mama"...and we hear it all the time! Her personality is really starting to come out...she is a little sassy! It's really hard to believe that she will be 1 year old in less that a month!

LEO:

What a big boy! Leo amazes us everyday with his humor, kindness and good nature! He is always so worried about everyone else - especially Violet! Here is a cute picture of "Super LEO"...FLORIDA:

We spent a week in Florida with all of the Schmidt's. Grandma Ed and Grandma Karen took all of the grandkids to Disney World - and the adults decided to tag along. A few of us got sick while we were there (Grandpa Ed, Uncle Andy and myself)...which was a bummer, but everyone had a good time! The weather was great! The house we rented was great! Disney World was great! We were all exhausted by the time we left - 5 parks in 5 days!

Leo loved Disney World! He got to meet Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, Goofy, Pluto...and his favorites Woody and Buzz Light Year! Here are a few pictures of our trip...
