Memorial Day Weekend

We spent Memorial Day weekend fishing on Lake of the Woods with the Zothman's. It has become an annual event with this being the 4th year we have gone up there with them. It is amazing how much life has changed for all of us in a fairly short period of time:

In 2008 - it was just the 4 of us - engaged, but not married yet.
In 2009 - we were all married and I was pregnant with Leo.
In 2010 - Leo was almost 1 year old and Megan was pregnant. I got pregnant that fall.
In 2011 -we had nearly doubled in size...Scott, Me, Leo (23 months), Violet (2 months), Dave, Megan and Finley (6 months)!

Dave and Scott fished most of the weekend, so Megan and I spent a lot of time at the playground and walking with the kids. Finley and Violet spent the weekend eating and sleeping, while Leo enjoyed playing in the sandbox with the dump trucks and backhoes...

...finding mud puddles to play in...

...and going fishing on the big lake! He was pretty nervous at first - but once they got going - he had a great time! He is still talking about the weekend of fishing...
