Happy Easter...

Easter 2011:

Scott had Friday and Monday off of work, so we had a long Easter weekend together! Saturday afternoon, we decided to dye Easter Eggs. It was fun, but Leo is becoming more and more independent. He didn't want any help - all we heard was "No help! I do it!" He drew on the eggs, dropped them in the dye and pulled them out with his bare hands! An 18 pack of eggs was NOT enough! He would have dyed eggs all afternoon...

Violet just hung out in her chair while Leo dyed the eggs. Next year, she will be able to help...

Sunday morning, Leo was very excited to find out that the Easter Bunny had come! He was most excited to find out that there was a pair of sunglasses "nasses" in his Easter basket. He wore them most of the day!

Cool Dude!

The Easter Bunny hid eggs filled with candy and quarters throughout the house! Leo found all of the eggs - must have been the sunglasses that helped him!
We spent the afternoon with Grandma and Grandpa Schmidt, Grandma and Grandpa Petrowski and Great-Grandma Helen at Auntie "Teder" (aka Tether) and Uncle Tim's farm. Leo had a very fun day with cousins, Jon, Abi and Ava! What a fun Easter!!! Hope everyone else had a great Easter, too!
