Deer stands, corn mazes and pumpkin patches...

We went to Roseau this past weekend to visit. On Saturday, we all went out to the homestead to set up deer stands with Grandpa and Dad. The bugs were pretty bad and it was really warm - so we didn't last long out there in the field.

Here we are on the hay rack: (Stacey, Me, Leo, Adam, Maddie, Christy and Anya)
That afternoon, we decided to take the kids to the Corn Maze in Warroad. It was really fun! Along with the corn maze, they had a spider web, a hay mountain, hay rides, a water balloon sling shot, and a mini hay bale maze - the kids enjoyed them all! They even had some animals there - 1 cow, 1 calf, 1 sheep, 2 pigs, and 4 chickens. Leo called all of them "Dogs"!

Here are all of the kids at the start of the maze:
Adam, Zak, Leo, Haylee, Anya and Maddie

The corn maze had signs hidden in it - with trivia answers on them. As we entered the corn maze, they said, "If it takes you longer than 20 minutes to get through it - come back and get a map!" We were in there for an hour and 20 minutes - and only got 4 of the 11 trivia questions answered. We finally just gave up... Next time, we will get a map:)

Before we left on Sunday, we all went down to the garden to pick pumpkins. Leo went home with a big, orange pumpkin for Halloween and I went home with pumpkins and squash for decorating my house and flowerboxes! Thanks, Grandpa and Grandpa!

Leo liked the mini pumpkins - he could carry them!

Thanks for a fun weekend, everyone! See you at Deer Camp!
