Back to work...

Before school started for the year, Scott and I decided to look for other daycare options. Luckily, we found someone that could take Leo right now and the baby next spring. So, the first day of school for Scott and I was Leo's first day at Jackie's Daycare. Jackie lives about 2 miles from our house - which means that I have to actually start a car and drive to drop him off/pick him up - but we think she is worth it! Leo LOVES being there - most days he doesn't want to leave with me!

There is another little boy, Willy (19 months) that has become Leo's best buddy! When we pull into the driveway every morning, Willy is usually standing in the picture window waiting for us. He greets us by running towards the door, yelling "Lee-OH, Lee-OH!" And when we leave, Willy usually runs to the door to give "Lee-OH" a hug goodbye. It is really quite cute! Well, Willy has been teaching Leo some new tricks while they are at Jackie's! Jackie told me that today she turned her back for a second only to find Leo and Willy standing on top of the kid's table dancing around. Little stinkers! When Jackie told them to get down, they just laughed at her! Uh oh! Could be trouble!

Anyways, Leo is growing like a weed and moving, moving, moving! We spend lots of time with him outside. There is still a lot of construction going on around us - lots of roofers working, new sidewalks being poured, and trees being removed. It's total entertainment for Leo! He would sit and watch them work for hours! Here he is outside last weekend:

Last week, we had a surprise 40th birthday party for a friend of ours. Noah and Leo were caught drinking in the wagon...too funny! When it was time to go, Leo refused to get out, so Steph pulled them both home. She said that they swapped sippy cups and talked the whole way home!

And here is Leo's new favorite activity...he is finally tall enough to reach up and unlock the pantry. He thinks it is fun to pull all of the cans, boxes, bags, and jars out - and throw them on the floor. Oh well, I guess we shouldn't complain - it keeps him busy for a LONG time!

Here he is tonight...just getting started on the pantry:

Alright - time for bed! I will post the pictures from Uncle David when the CD arrives - hopefully, later this week!
