Oregon Trip
Scott's entire family (21 of us) all went to Portland for Sara and Dane's wedding on July 2nd. Scott, Leo and Violet and I left on June 28th and returned on July 10th. We spent 10 days visiting with extended family, sightseeing and enjoying our time together!
For the 4th of July, we rented a huge 5 bedroom house for all of us to stay in - the Stamper Fishing Lodge in Lincoln City, OR on the Siletz River. We spent 3 days together - playing at the beach, watching the parade on the 4th, fishing, eating, drinking and just having fun! Here we all are standing in front of the house - Scott's Grandma, Helen and her sister, Lorraine also made the trip to the coast with us - making us a group of 23!

We spent a few hours at the beach...it was really windy and the water was cold (about 50 degrees). It didn't stop any of the kids from playing in it though! Leo loved the ocean! Despite chattering teeth and blue lips - he just kept running into the water laughing and yelling, "More ocean!"
The guys (and Lorraine!) made numerous trips fishing out on the Columbia River, as well as the Pacific ocean. The rest of us enjoyed their trips too. We ate lots of fresh salmon, crab and white fish! Yum!
Other highlights: climbing Beacon Rock with all of the kids, seeing the Salmon swimming upstream at the fishery, Multnomah Falls, the Portland Zoo, golf, fishing, celebrating birthdays and Girl's Night out...
